Join us at the the Cooper Courtyard on Saturday September 20th 2014 for a Romantic Night to Remember with Los Dandys. Grammy nominated Los Dandy’s was formed in 1958 by Mexican singers José Luis Segura, Armando Navarro, Francisco Escanilla, and Joaquín Ruiz Martínez, performing romantic ballads based on Cuban bolero and traditional norteño style. When José Luis Segura passed away in 1963, he was replaced by his son José Luis Segura, Jr. In addition, Guicho Cisneros took Francisco Escanilla’s place. Also appearing will be Pobedy Montes. Pobedy Montes has had the Great Honor and Privilege of opening shows, for great artists and comedians like, Paul Rodriguez, Ricky Martin, Pepe Aguilar, Carmen Jara, Ana Barbara, Nydia Rojas, Gerardito Fernandez, Fey, Bronco, Espinoza Paz. Including singing a Song Duet with Vicente Fernandez in the Amphitheatre of Chula Vista in May of 2008. Your MC for the night will be MC Susie Q. The doors open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 8:00pm. Tickets for the show are $25.00 and can be purchased at the Cooper Museum on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11:00am to 5:00pm.
