Lola Lowe - Trustee
Chairperson - Collections Committee Member - Education Committee
Genealogy / Historic Homes Liaison
Lola came to Rancho Cucamonga in 1985 so busy with her 'day job' that her only link to history was her genealogy research and none of that was 'local'. After retirement, she decided to work locally on a project to survey Bellevue Cemetery so that those resting there could be found by other researchers. This led her to the Cooper Museum about three years ago. This developed into a passion for local history and the people who made this area what it is today. As chairperson for Collections, she is working on a formal collections policy, and an inventory and collection assessment, including photographing and researching our artifacts.
Do you have a research challenge? Give her a call at the 18th street location and she will see how she can help!
